STScI Identity Colors

Space telescopes, from their perches beyond Earth’s atmosphere, have amazing views of our home planet. The “blue marble” is the inspiration for our blue color, which represents the Earth. Black, of course, represents the vastness of space and, finally, grey represents the metallic material space telescopes are often made of. STScI’s identity should only appear in these colors. The works, upon which the identity is placed, can cross the spectrum of colors.
